It\u2019s official!<\/p>\n<p>64 hours of non-stop chess, breaking boundaries, and amplifying the voices of children across Africa. We\u2019re thrilled to announce that Tunde Onakoya and Shawn Martinez have set a new world record for the longest chess marathon, shattering the previous record of 61 hours, 3 minutes, and 34 seconds held by Norwegian players Odin Blikra Vea and Askild Bryn.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, April 20th, 2025, at 12 PM (WAT), history was made with a remarkable 64-hour chess marathon.
