Thank you for your interest in Applying as a Volunteer. Volunteers are a vital part of our mission, contributing to the delivery of high-quality program interventions for children and young people towards specific outcomes and impact.

Our programs are coordinated at the Chess in Slums Innovation Hub located in Yaba,Lagos, which also serves as the organization’s main office. The hub is the central location for most programs and currently has the After-School Program in session. Programs and outreach efforts also take place externally (In and Out of State) as coordinated by the organization. Volunteers are expected to serve across both settings.

We are currently recruiting volunteers to serve as Facilitators and to support program operations across various units. Facilitators will be physically present to teach and engage with children and young people, while volunteers may also support both on-ground and online activities as needed. Roles may sometimes overlap, depending on program needs.
